Focus on the Denatured Alcohols Company

Over the years, S.A.D. has always been able to adapt to market or regulations changes and to be proactive in order to perfectly meet the needs of its customers.

1907

The Creation

Société des Alcools Dénaturés (Denatured Alcohol Company) was formed from the merger of the Pierret-Valère and Hyppolite Corbrion companies.

The company initially established itself in the former stables of a coaching inn in Maisons-Alfort. Distribution was then handled by horse-drawn teams (selling methylated spirits to grocers).
